Answer ( 1 )
Pimples can occur in various skin types, but they are most commonly associated with oily and combination skin. Oily skin produces excess sebum, which can clog pores and lead to acne breakouts. This type of skin is characterized by a shiny appearance, enlarged pores, and a tendency to develop blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin).
Combination skin, which is a combination of oily and dry areas, can also experience pimples. In this skin type, the T-zone may be oily while the cheeks and other areas are dry or normal. Pimples can appear in the oily regions due to excess sebum production, while dry areas may be prone to irritation and inflammation, which can also contribute to acne.
It’s important to note that even normal and dry skin types can occasionally experience pimples, although less frequently than oily or combination skin. Factors such as hormonal fluctuations, stress, diet, and skincare products can all play a role in the development of pimples, regardless of skin type.
